  • Colts' Sauce Gardner: DNP to kick off Week 15 prep

Gardner (calf) won't practice Wednesday, Mike Chappell of FOX 59/CBS 4 Sports reports. Gardner hasn't practiced or played since sustaining a calf injury Nov. 30 against the Texans. The Colts placed fellow starting cornerback Charvarius Ward (concussion) on injured reserve Wednesday, so they will be significantly depleted in the secondary against Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks if Gardner isn't available Sunday.

  • Colts' DeForest Buckner: Window to return from IR opens

Buckner (neck) had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, Mike Chappell of FOX 59/CBS 4 Sports reports. Buckner will be a limited participant at practice Wednesday, per Stephen Holder of ESPN.com. The defensive tackle has been on injured reserve since Nov. 7. The Colts have 21 days to add Buckner back to the active roster, and such a move could transpire prior to Sunday's game against the Seahawks, though he would presumably need to upgrade to full practice participation without any setbacks first.

  • Colts' Charvarius Ward: Won't return in regular season

Ward (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Ward will miss the remainder of the regular season, but he will be eligible to return for the playoffs, should the Colts make it. He would need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion to resume playing at that point. Ward finishes the 2025 regular season with 25 tackles (17 solo) and seven passes defensed in seven appearances.

  • Colts' Germaine Pratt: Scoops fumble in Week 14 loss

Pratt logged six tackles (two solo), one pass defense and a fumble recovery during the Colts' 36-19 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. Pratt finished with the second-most tackles on the team behind Zaire Franklin (seven). Pratt scooped up a Bhayshul Tuten fumble late in the second quarter to set the Colts offense up at midfield, though Indianapolis ended up turning the ball over on downs four plays later. Since signing with the Colts in early October, Pratt has accumulated 73 tackles (41 solo), five pass defenses, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries across eight regular-season games.

  • Colts' Zaire Franklin: Posts seven stops vs. Jacksonville

Franklin registered seven tackles (two solo) during the Colts' 36-19 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. Franklin was one of three Colts defenders to play every single snap, and he led the team in tackles for a second consecutive game. The 2018 seventh-rounder is up to 94 combined stops through 13 regular-season games, and he should crack the tackling century mark for a fourth consecutive year. That could come as soon as this Sunday against the Seahawks.

  • Troy Pride: Links up with practice squad

Pride signed with the Colts' practice squad on Tuesday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports. He'll provide some depth to the banged-up Colts secondary as they make their playoff push.

  • Colts' Chris Lammons: Moved to injured list

The Colts placed Lammons (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday, JJ Stankevitz of the team's official site reports. Lammons suffered a foot injury against the Jaguars last Sunday and was unable to return to the game. The injury is severe enough to land the cornerback on IR, and he will be unable to return until a potential postseason game at the earliest. In corresponding moves, the Colts signed cornerback Cameron Mitchell to the 53-man roster and signed cornerback Troy Pride to the practice squad. Mitchell will likely replace Lammons, backing up Kenny Moore in the slot cornerback role.

  • Colts' Charvarius Ward: In concussion protocol again

Ward was placed in the concussion protocol after reporting symptoms after Sunday's loss at Jacksonville, the Indianapolis Star reports. It's Ward's third concussion of the season. He suffered a concussion in Week 1 and missed a game. He suffered another concussion in warmups before a Week 6 game and missed another five games. It wouldn't be surprising if he missed the rest of the season as a result of this setback.

  • Colts' Chris Lammons: Won't return vs. Jacksonville

Lammons (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of Indianapolis' matchup versus the Jaguars on Sunday. Lammons is done for the day after suffering a foot injury in the first half. The 29-year-old had seen the majority of his playing time on special teams before exiting the game, so his absence likely won't affect the Colts' defensive gameplan.

  • Colts' Chris Lammons: Questionable to return

Lammons (foot) is questionable to return in Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Lammons exited in the first half of Sunday's Week 14 game against the Jaguars with the injury. The 29-year-old saw most of his workload on special teams before the injury but did see an uptick in playing time with Sauce Gardner out. Mekhi Blackmon and George Odum may see larger roles if Lammons remains out.

  • Colts' JT Tuimoloau: Possible concussion

Tuimoloau is being evaluated for a possible concussion and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Tuimoloau appeared to sustain the injury during kickoff coverage, and he is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return. With Tyquan Lewis (ankle) inactive, Samson Ebukam would serve as the Colts' lone rotational defensive end behind starters Kwity Paye and Laiatu Latu if Tuimoloau is ruled out.

  • Colts' Tyquan Lewis: Ruled out for Week 14

Lewis (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Jaguars. Lewis will miss his fourth game of the season, this time due to an ankle injury that he seemingly picked up earlier in the week. Samson Ebukam and JT Tuimoloau should see increased playing time against Jacksonville in Lewis' absence.

  • Colts' Jaylon Carlies: Chance to be activated from IR

Carlies (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Carlies was a full participant in practice all week, and while he's tagged as questionable, he is trending toward being activated from injured reserve and being cleared to make his 2025 regular-season debut Sunday. The second-year linebacker is in the final stages of his recovery from an ankle injury he sustained during the preseason in early August. Carlies would likely work in a rotational role at linebacker while contributing on special teams if he's activated from IR.

  • Colts' Tyquan Lewis: Tagged as questionable Week 14

Lewis (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Lewis registered a DNP-LP-DNP practice log during Week 14 prep while working through an ankle injury. His status for Sunday's AFC South tilt may not be officially known until 90 minutes prior to the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Colts announce their list of inactive players. Samson Ebukam and JT Tuimoloau would be in line for more rotational snaps at defensive end behind Kwity Paye and Laiatu Latu if Lewis is not cleared to play.

  • Colts' Sauce Gardner: Out for Sunday

Gardner (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports. The Cincinnati product sustained a non-contact calf injury in the Week 13 loss to the Texans, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. Gardner has appeared in three games since being traded from the Jets to the Colts in early November, recording 13 total tackles and two passes defensed. While he's out Week 14, expect Mekhi Blackmon to start as one of Indianapolis' boundary corners.

  • Colts' Kenny Moore: Upgrades to full participation

Moore (illness/ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Moore upgraded to full participation Thursday after not practicing Wednesday due to an illness. The starting slot cornerback will be good to go for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Jaguars, a game that could be pivotal in determining the winner of the AFC South.

  • Colts' Tyquan Lewis: Limited in practice Thursday

Lewis (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Lewis has logged less than 30 percent of defensive snaps in his last two outings after returning from a groin injury, and he's now been saddled with an ankle injury. The defensive end's upgrade to limited participation is a good sign that he will be able to suit up for a third consecutive game, though he'll likely continue to see a similar amount of playing time.

  • Colts' Kenny Moore: Dealing with illness

Moore (illness/ankle) was listed as a non-participant during Wednesday's walkthrough. Moore was listed on the injury report with this ankle injury last week, but he was still a full practice participant. Thus, it's likely that Moore's illness is what's keeping him out of practice instead of the ankle issue. Moore has posted 36 tackles (20 solo), five pass breakups, 1.5 sacks and a pick-six through nine games. Chris Lammons likely will start at slot cornerback if Moore can't play Sunday versus the Jaguars.

  • Colts' Tyquan Lewis: No practice Wednesday

Lewis (ankle) was listed as a non-participant for Wednesday's practice. Lewis missed three straight games with a groin injury before returning for the last two weeks, although he logged less than 30 percent of the defensive snaps in each outing. Now, he's back on the injury report with an ankle injury. Getting on the field for Thursday's practice will be crucial to his chances to play Sunday versus the Jaguars.
