  • RJ McIntosh: Done in New York

The Giants cut McIntosh on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. McIntosh, a 2018 fifth-round pick of the Giants, didn't log a single appearance for the team in 2020. • Giants' RJ McIntosh: All clear Thursday

McIntosh (foot) wasn't listed on the team's injury report for Thursday's practice, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. McIntosh dealt with the foot injury late in training camp, forcing him to sit out important intrasquad scrimmages. Now healthy, the 2018 fifth-round pick is expected to handle a depth role on the defensive line for the upcoming campaign.

  • Giants' RJ McIntosh: Not on injury report

McIntosh was not listed on the Giants' injury report Monday. The Giants suffered a tough loss to the Vikings on Sunday, but the road doesn't get any easier with a quick Week 6 turnaround Thursday against the Patriots. McIntosh was being evaluated for a concussion Sunday, but his absence from the injury report means he was cleared at some point, meaning he should be ready for action Thursday.
