The Dolphins waived Ray (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Now that Ray has reached an injury settlement with Miami, he's free to sign elsewhere once he recovers from his undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old's last regular-season action came in 2022 with the Titans, when he appeared in one game and recorded one total tackle while playing 18 defensive snaps.

Bengals' Wyatt Ray: Lands on COVID-19 list
Rotowire
Ray has landed on the reserve COVID-19 list and won't play Sunday against the Ravens, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.
Ray was one of two Bengals added to the COVID-19 list Christmas Day, with D.J. Reader being the other one. This means the former Boston College standout won't play until Week 17 at the earliest. However, Ray has played more than 30 percent of the defensive snaps just three times this season, so his absence shouldn't affect many fantasy rosters.
