  • Wyatt Ray: Dropped by Miami

The Dolphins waived Ray (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Now that Ray has reached an injury settlement with Miami, he's free to sign elsewhere once he recovers from his undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old's last regular-season action came in 2022 with the Titans, when he appeared in one game and recorded one total tackle while playing 18 defensive snaps.

  • Dolphins' Wyatt Ray: Placed on IR

Ray (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Dolphins on Tuesday. Ray signed with the Dolphins on Aug. 12, but he'll now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign while on IR with an undisclosed injury. If Ray and Miami reach an injury settlement at any point, he'll be free to sign elsewhere and potentially play this season.

  • Jaguars' Wyatt Ray: Joins Jaguars

Ray signed with Jacksonville on Tuesday. Ray spent last season with the Bengals, appearing in 15 games and securing 15 tackles, a sack and forced fumble. His addition comes on the heels of Jordan Smith being placed on IR with a knee injury. Ray will work to earn a depth role on the Jaguars' defensive line.

  • Bengals' Wyatt Ray: Lands on COVID-19 list

Ray has landed on the reserve COVID-19 list and won't play Sunday against the Ravens, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports. Ray was one of two Bengals added to the COVID-19 list Christmas Day, with D.J. Reader being the other one. This means the former Boston College standout won't play until Week 17 at the earliest. However, Ray has played more than 30 percent of the defensive snaps just three times this season, so his absence shouldn't affect many fantasy rosters.
