    Breeze is in the mix for a backup job at safety, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. DeShon Elliott is the favorite to join Tracy Walker in the starting lineup, but second-year Oregon product Breeze appears to be competing with Ifeatu Melifonwu and C.J. Moore for snaps behind them. While second-round draft pick Kerby Joseph should also be in the fold before long, Breeze ultimately seems to have a good shot at a roster spot this fall.

  • Titans' Brady Breeze: Eligible to practice

    Breeze (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Breeze has had a difficult start to the season, as he also landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list in early September. He's now eligible to return to practice and can be activated at any point within the next 21 days. Breeze was a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, so it's unclear what type of role he may be able to claim upon his return.

Breeze was placed on injured reserve late last week, but he now has to contend with COVID-19.
