Poljan signed a reserve/future contract with the Ravens on Monday.
Poljan spent the season on the practice squad and went without a catch in his lone game appearance. The rookie UDFA out of Virginia will look to secure a roster spot in training camp for his second season.

Ravens' Tony Poljan: Elevated for Week 18
Poljan was elevated to the Ravens' active roster Saturday, Ryan Mink of the team's official website reports.
The tight end will make his second appearance with the active roster in Week 18 against the Steelers. He last played in Week 16 against the Bengals. With Nick Boyle (illness) on the COVID list, Poljan and Eric Tomlinson will operate as the top reserve options behind starter Mark Andrews.

Tony Poljan: Headed back to practice squad
Poljan reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Poljan was elevated for Sunday's game against the Bengals to account for the absence of Josh Oliver (undisclosed). Still, he was buried on the depth chart and recorded only six offensive snaps and four snaps on special teams.

Poljan has been a part of the team's practice squad at times this season, but Sunday will mark his first opportunity on the active roster. The 6-foot-7 tight end brings a tremendous size advantage, but he likely will be merely special teams depth.
