  • Jaguars' Cole Van Lanen: DNP in walkthrough

Van Lanen (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports. Van Lanen left last Sunday's win over the Titans late in the fourth quarter with a knee injury. The left tackle's status for Sunday's wild-card game against the Bills will likely be determined by the results of Thursday and Friday's practices. If Van Lanen is unable to upgrade his participation and must sit out Sunday's game, Walker Little would likely start at tackle opposite Anton Harrison.

  • Jaguars' Cole Van Lanen: Hurts knee Sunday

Van Lanen left Sunday's 41-7 win versus the Titans with a knee injury, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Van Lanen left the game in the middle of the fourth quarter when Jacksonville already held a 27-point lead, so any ding or bruise might have been sufficient reason for the Jaguars to reel in their starting left tackle. His status will be worth keeping an eye on as Jacksonville gets ready to host its first postseason game since 2022.

Van Lanen (shoulder) was a full participant in Jacksonville's practice Wednesday. Van Lanen is healthy again after having missed the team's Week 1 victory over the Panthers with a shoulder injury. He will likely serve as the backup right tackle behind Anton Harrison for Sunday's matchup versus the Bengals.

Van Lanen (shoulder) returned to practice Thursday, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports. Van Lanen was injured at the start of training camp, but he appears to be healthy enough now leading up to the Jaguars' Week 1 opener in 10 days. • Jaguars' Cole Van Lanen: Done for camp

Van Lanen (shoulder) is out for the rest of training camp, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. The injury could deal a serious blow to Van Lanen's chances of securing a roster spot after signing a one-year deal in April. Van Lanen suited up nine times for the Jaguars during the 2024 regular season and made the first three starts of his NFL career in the process.
