  • Packers' Collin Oliver: Activated from PUP list

The Packers activated Oliver (hamstring) from the reserve/PUP list Monday. The rookie fifth-round pick has fully recovered from a hamstring surgery, which he underwent in March prior to being drafted. He then had a setback in his recovery that forced him to begin the season on the PUP list, but Oliver has checked out fine since he resumed practicing earlier this month. Oliver could be on track to make his NFL debut Saturday against the Ravens, but he'll likely have a small role on defense if he suits up.

  • Packers' Collin Oliver: Ruled out for Week 14

Oliver (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Oliver has been dealing with the hamstring injury since training camp and was able to return to practice Monday. He officially logged three limited practices ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears, but he will not be ready for his pro debut.

  • Packers' Collin Oliver: Still working through injury

Head coach Matt LaFleur relayed Wednesday that Oliver is still working through a hamstring injury, and his ability to return from the reserve/PUP list is "up in the air," Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. The rookie fifth-rounder opened training camp on the PUP list due to a hamstring injury, which has prevented him from participating in practices since. The injury is severe enough for Oliver to remain limited to off-field work, and there doesn't appear to be a clear timeline for him to make his NFL regular-season debut.

  • Packers' Collin Oliver: Set to miss at least four games

Oliver (hamstring) was placed on the reserve/PUP list by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official website reports. Oliver will be forced to miss at least four games to open the 2025 season as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old was expected to operate as a depth option on defense in his rookie campaign, so his early absence doesn't carry a significant impact.

  • Packers' Collin Oliver: Nabbed by Packers in Round 5

The Packers selected Oliver in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 159th overall. Oliver's 2024 season ended after just two games due to a foot injury, but he impressed at the combine, showcasing his athleticism and alleviating some concerns surrounding the foot. Oliver produced 73 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks in his lone full season as a starter with Oklahoma State in 2023. He doesn't have a ton of experience dropping into coverage and may serve as a rotational rusher early in his career, though a future as an off-ball linebacker may not be off the table either, depending on how defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley views him. He'll likely slot into a depth role and be a possible special teams contributor as a rookie.
