Jamison Hensley@jamisonhensley2H agoDo the Ravens plan to start Vega Ioane at left guard? Jesse Minter: "He's actually played both guard (spots). He actually started one game at center a couple years ago. I think he's got a lot of versatility and we'll figure out the best way to get our best players on the field."

Jamison Hensley@jamisonhensley2H agoVega Ioane is just the 2nd offensive lineman drafted in the first round by the Ravens in the last 10 years (Tyler Linderbaum was the other). "We probably haven't invested as many resources in the offensive line recently," Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said.

Jamison Hensley@jamisonhensley2H agoGM Eric DeCosta said he got a call that would have allowed Ravens to trade back but talks fell apart. "It didn't really materialize at the end and the other team decided they wanted to make a pick. And it's easy for us to turn the card in at that time."
