  • Hassan Hall: Lands on Cardinals' practice squad

Arizona signed Hall to its practice squad Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Hall was with the Cardinals during training camp but was waived just before the start of the regular season. He'll get another look with Arizona and may see his first NFL action this Sunday versus San Francisco. The Cardinals could be thin at running back for that contest with Trey Benson (ankle) landing on IR on Tuesday and James Conner questionable due to a knee injury. If Conner misses Sunday's season finale and Hall does get elevated, he'd likely work behind Michael Carter and DeeJay Dallas in the team's backfield.

  • Cardinals' Hassan Hall: Gets opportunity in desert

The Cardinals signed Hall to a contract Tuesday. Hall resurfaces in Arizona after having been cut by the Chiefs back in June. As a rookie last season, Hall spent time on the practice squads of the Giants, Cardinals and Browns. Now, he returns to Arizona to continue his development.

  • Hassan Hall: Cut by Kansas City

The Chiefs waived Hall on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Kansas City has decided to part ways with Hall after signing him to a reserve/future contract back in January. The 23-year-old running back out of Georgia Tech has yet to make his NFL debut, but he spent time with the Giants', Cardinals', and Browns' practice squads during his lone season in the league.

  • Chiefs' Hassan Hall: Inks reserve/future deal with KC

The Chiefs signed Hall to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hall bounced between the Browns, Cardinals and Giants this season, spending time on each organization's practice squad. He has yet to make his NFL debut after originally signing with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent last April. Hall's reserve/future deal will give him the opportunity to complete for a roster spot at Kansas City's training camp this summer.

  • Hassan Hall: Signed to practice squad

The Giants signed Hall to their practice squad Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. With both Eric Gray (calf) and Gary Brightwell (hamstring) on injured reserve and Jashaun Corbin also nursing a hamstring issue, Hall gives the Giants organizational backfield depth. Hall has yet to register a regular-season carry in the NFL.

  • Hassan Hall: Headed to Arizona

The Cardinals signed Hall to their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hall was let go from Cleveland's practice squad back in September but will now get another opportunity in Arizona. The rookie undrafted free agent will serve as a depth running back option, as the team currently only has two healthy backs on the active roster.

  • Hassan Hall: Could move to 53-man

Hall could be elevated to the 53-man roster after Nick Chubb suffered a knee injury during Monday's 26-22 loss to Pittsburgh. The Browns fear it's a season-ending knee injury for Chubb, which means a change in the depth chart at running back. Jerome Ford moves to the No. 1 spot, with Pierre Strong becoming the primary backup. That leaves room for Cleveland to bring in another body at the position and that could be Hall, an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech who was with the team during training camp and the preseason.

  • Hassan Hall: Signed to Browns practice squad

Hall is back with the Browns via their practice squad. Hall spent the offseason and training camp with the Browns after going undrafted. The 23-year-old is coming off a five-year collegiate career that saw him accumulate 2,160 yards from scrimage and 12 touchdowns to go along with 2,581 return yards for Georgia Tech. He will now look to make an impression at practice in Cleveland as both a pass catcher and special teamer.

  • Hassan Hall: Won't make 53-man roster

Hall was waived by the Browns on Tuesday. The 23-year-old linked up with Cleveland after going undrafted this past year. Throughout his five-year collegiate career, Hall tallied 2,160 yards from scrimmage and 12 touchdowns while also accumulating 2,581 return yards. The Georgia Tech product's best chance to make the Browns' roster was as a return man, but the team determined he ultimately didn't do enough.

  • Browns' Hassan Hall: Stays in return mix

Hall carried three times for four yards, caught his lone target for three yards, and returned one kickoff for 34 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Commanders. Jerome Ford's hamstring injury, which leaves him week-to-week, opens the door for Hall to get more work at running back. It also keeps Hall in the mix as a returner. Ford was the main kickoff returner in 2022, and special teams coach Stump Mitchell told Anthony Poisal of the Browns' official site in June that would still be part of his job. However, head coach Kevin Stefanski may want to limit Ford's exposure on special teams. In that event, Hall will be part of the competition as a returner.

  • Browns' Hassan Hall: Returns kicks in HOF Game

Hall returned three kickoffs for 62 yards in Thursday's preseason victory over the Jets. He also logged five carries for 34 yards. Hall got the first chance to return kicks, but it should be noted that the major return candidates sat this game out. Jakeem Grant, who is making his way back from a ruptured Achilles, and Jaelon Darden (leg) were held out for health reasons. Donovan Peoples-Jones and Jerome Ford were held out along with a slew of other skill-position starters.
