Jackson came to the franchise as an undrafted free agent in the spring, and although he didn't make the 53-man roster, he was brought back as a member of the practice squad. However, he has now lost that spot, as the team has opted to replace him with fellow running back Jake Funk on the practice squad.

The Jaguars signed Jackson to their practice squad Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Jackson was originally signed by the Jaguars in April after going undrafted out of Villanova this past offseason. He'll join Jacksonville's practice squad after rushing for 72 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries during the preseason.
