Echols didn't return to Friday's preseason contest against the Eagles after suffering a shoulder injury, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Initially, it appeared to be a stinger as he wasn't able to move his arm as he made his way to the sideline, but after spending time in the medical tent he was sent straight to the locker room. The severity of the injury is unknown, but Echols needs all the reps he can get as he competes with Elijah Campbell and Isaiah Dunn for a roster spot.
