The Bears waived Jackson on Tuesday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson spent most of last season on Chicago's practice squad, and he's yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game. He played 12 offensive snaps in the Bears' preseason opener against Miami on Sunday, catching one of his four targets for seven yards. Jackson was also credited with a dropped pass.

Jackson signed with Chicago as an undrafted free agent out of USC in May and ended up spending the majority of the season on their practice squad. He'll now have the opportunity to be a part of the Bears' offseason programs and earn a spot on their squad for the 2025 campaign.
