Mazzi Wilkins: Finishes suspension
Wilkins had his three-game suspension lifted by the NFL on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wilkins is set to return to action after missing the first three weeks of the season while serving a suspension. The cornerback hasn't appeared in a game since 2021 and will likely have to settle for a practice squad role if he gets an opportunity with a team.

Mazzi Wilkins: Facing suspension
Wilkins has been suspended for the first three games of the regular season, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
The reason for Wilkins' suspension remains undisclosed, but the veteran cornerback will ultimately miss time to start the 2023 campaign. Since his rookie season in 2019, Wilkins has appeared in just seven games, seeing his most recent NFL action in one game with the Ravens in 2021. In addition, the 27-year-old played in the USFL in 2022 as a member of the Philadelphia Stars. Wilkins will likely focus on making an NFL roster ahead of the season despite his looming suspension.

Baltimore restored Wilkins (undisclosed) from the practice squad COVID-19 list Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction report.
Wilkins is now cleared to return to team facilities. The 26-year-old cornerback was elevated for a single game by Baltimore this season.

Mazzi (undisclosed) was placed on the Ravens' practice squad COVID-19 list Saturday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Mazzi will have to clear protocols before returning to team facilities. However, his availability won't impact much, as the 26-year-old defensive back has only appeared in one game this season, playing three special team snaps in Week 15.

Wilkins was regularly a part of the Buccaneers' 53-man roster in 2019, but he was often inactive on game day. That could be his fate once again in Week 1 against the Saints, as the team's secondary is relatively healthy.
