  • Packers' Savion Williams: Questionable for Sunday

Williams (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Giants, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Williams completed the week of practice with a third limited session, and the rookie could once again look to play through injury, as he did Week 10 against the Eagles. The wide receiver caught a pair of targets for two receiving yards on six offensive snaps and added 57 kick-return yards on three special-teams snaps in last Sunday's loss. The 23-year-old will likely have similar usage if he is able to suit up for this Sunday's contest.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Limited again Thursday

Williams (foot) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. After holding the designation in Wednesday's walkthrough, Williams logged a limited practice Thursday as the rookie continues to deal with a foot injury. The wide receiver and backup kick returner played through the injury in Monday's loss to the Eagles and could do the same in Sunday's game against the Giants unless he is able to avoid an injury tag by practicing in full Friday.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Two catches in loss

Williams caught both of his targets for two yards in Monday's 10-7 loss to the Eagles. Williams was minimally involved Monday, playing just six of the Packers' 68 offensive snaps in the contest. The rookie wideout has now recorded nine receptions on nine targets for 45 yards and a touchdown across nine games. With such limited usage, Williams remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 11 matchup against the Giants.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Set to face Philly

Williams (foot) is active for Monday's game against the Eagles, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports. Williams was limited in practice throughout the week, but his two partial sessions Friday and Saturday will be enough for him to suit up. Williams is likely to contribute primarily as a kick returner, though he could earn a couple of targets.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Questionable for MNF

Williams (foot) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Eagles, Wes Hodklewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Williams ended the week with back-to-back limited practices while tending to a foot injury, and his official status for Monday night's game may not be known until the Packers announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. The rookie third-rounder would be slated for an elevated role on offense if one or both of Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Matthew Golden (shoulder) were to be ruled out for Week 10.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Misses practice Thursday

Williams (foot) did not participate at practice Thursday. Williams caught both of his targets for 12 yards and failed to gain a yard on his only carry while also losing a fumble in the team's 16-13 loss to the Panthers in Week 9. The wide receiver may have picked up a foot injury in the process, leaving his status for Week 10 uncertain. Williams will have two more chances to return to practice prior to Monday night's matchup with the Eagles.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Claims first NFL touchdown

Williams took the field for 12 of the Packers' 64 snaps on offense and finished with a one-yard carry and an eight-yard touchdown reception on his lone target in Sunday's 35-25 win over the Steelers. He also returned four kickoffs for 97 yards. Williams' touchdown grab -- the first of his career -- came with 8:48 remaining in the third quarter and helped cut the Green Bay deficit to two points before the Packers ran away with the game in the fourth quarter. A 2025 third-round pick out of TCU, Williams boasts a big frame (6-foot-4, 222 pounds) and excellent size-adjusted athleticism (4.48-second 40-yard dash time), but he looks set to remain a situational player on offense during his rookie season. Instead, Williams is more likely to offer his biggest weekly contributions on kickoff returns, where he's averaging 25.6 yards per runback through seven games.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Limited to four snaps

Williams played four snaps in Sunday's 27-23 victory over the Cardinals. The third-round rookie is still filling only a bit role for Green Bay, and he has gotten only 11 total snaps on offense since the team's Week 5 bye. He could see a few more opportunities if Dontayvion Wicks (calf) misses any action, but he also figures to drop below Christian Watson (knee) on the depth chart when the latter returns in the next week or two.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Nursing groin injury

Williams was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury. The Packers are coming off a Week 5 bye, so Williams may have picked up the injury during Green Bay's Week 4 tie against Dallas, when the rookie third-rounder logged three catches on as many targets for 22 yards along with 24 yards on one kickoff return. Williams' practice participation over the next two days will provide clarity on his chances of playing against the Bengals on Sunday.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Works as kick returner

Williams caught one pass for two yards and returned two kicks for 39 yards in Sunday's 27-13 victory over the Lions. Williams -- a third-round pick in this year's NFL Draft -- played only three snaps on offense after missing a couple weeks of action with a hamstring injury, but he did get an opportunity to contribute on special teams in his professional debut. He could get more involved as the season wears on, but he will have his work cut out for him with quality depth in Green Bay's wide receiver room.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Practicing Thursday

Williams is participating in practice Thursday after having departed early during Tuesday's session, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Williams spent a few days in the concussion protocol before returning to practice Sunday, and head coach Matt LaFleur said his early departure was "all part of the return to play protocol," per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. The Packers seem to simply be taking standard precautions with the rookie third-round pick's activity level, and there are currently no indications that his availability might be in jeopardy for the team's preseason opener against Indianapolis on Aug. 9. Williams has reportedly put together a strong start to training camp, but his path to consistent playing time as a rookie is nonetheless unclear, with Dontayvion Wicks (calf), Mecole Hardman and eventually possibly even Christian Watson (ACL) also competing for reps behind Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden and Romeo Doubs.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Returns to practice

Williams (concussion) participated in Green Bay's practice Sunday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Williams had been sidelined after suffering a concussion during Friday's practice session but now is healthy again. The rookie third-round pick likely will spend the remainder of the summer competing with Dontayvion Wicks and/or Mecole Hardman to serve as the team's No. 4 receiver for the upcoming campaign.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Dealing with concussion

Williams is not practicing Friday due to a concussion, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Williams was reportedly having a nice start to training camp, according to Demovsky, but he figures to miss some time with the head injury. Green Bay used a third-round pick, 87th overall, on Williams in the 2025 Draft, but there's not a clear path to meaningful playing time as a rookie, even with Christian Watson rehabbing a torn ACL suffered last Week 18. The Packers still have a loaded wideout room that features Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks and first-round rookie Matthew Golden.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Green Bay adds athletic wideout

The Packers selected Williams in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 87th overall. Williams (6-foot-4, 222 pounds) is extremely athletic for his size, boasting a 4.48-second 40-yard dash and repeatedly demonstrating rare open-field running ability at TCU. The problem with Williams is that he might be limited to gadget usage and kick return work in the NFL, not unlike his frequent comparison, Cordarrelle Patterson. Williams struggled to draw targets despite competing against a handful of non-prospects at TCU the last three years, so while his athletic tools are tempting there's not much evidence that Williams will ever develop into a viable starter.
