Lynch (hamstring) was not available for Saturday's practice, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Lynch reportedly injured his hamstring at practice Friday, but the same issue forced him to miss time during OTAs in June as well. He should provide the Bears with some depth off the bench this season if he can remain healthy, but his offseason hasn't gotten off to a good start. Lynch should be considered day-to-day unless something suggests he will miss extended time because of the issue.
Lynch (ankle) sat out of OTAs last week with a hamstring injury, The Athletic Chicago reports.
It's the second injury of the offseason for Lynch, as he also suffered a left ankle sprain during a workout in April. The hamstring issue doesn't appear overly serious, but numerous offseason injuries for a player who missed nine games each of the past two seasons is hardly moving in the right direction.
Lynch suffered a left ankle injury during a workout Wednesday, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Lynch, who inked a one-year contract with the Bears in March, is expected to upgrade Chicago's pass rush in 2018 following the offseason defections of Pernell McPhee, Lamarr Houston and Willie Young. The injury shouldn't dramatically delay Lynch's preparations for the upcoming campaign, as all indications are that the sprain he suffered Wednesday isn't a major concern. That being said, the injury could limit his involvement for the rest of the Bears' offseason program.
Lynch is coming two down years with the 49ers after starting strong in his first two years in the league. He'll compete with Jonathan Bullard and Akiem Hicks for snaps with the Bears as he looks to regain his form that saw him record 12.5 sacks in his first two seasons combined. The specifics of Lynch's one-year deal have not yet been released.
Lynch (calf) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports.
Lynch has missed the past four games with a strained calf but seems to be in line to return for Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks. However, even if he does play, it isn't clear how big of a role he would have in his first game back from injury.
