Bullough spent two seasons with the Buccaneers after going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, and he suited up for 12 games and posted 16 tackles. The Titans have their starting linebackers on the roster, so Bullough will look to win a special-teams role.
Bullough was waived by Tampa Bay on Monday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Bullough ended up starting three games at middle linebacker for the Buccaneers last season due to injuries to Kwon Alexander (knee) and Kevin Minter (calf), but had only 14 tackles (nine solo) in total. The 25-year-old figures to fight for a special teams role once he joins a new team.
Bullough will start at middle linebacker in Sunday's Week 15 tilt against the Ravens with Adarius Taylor (personal) inactive, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
The Bucs are in dire straits in the middle with Taylor unavailable, considering Kwon Alexander (knee) and Kevin Minter (calf) are already on injured reserve. At least Bullough ha starting experience this season, with his most recent run with the first unit having come in a three-tackle effort across 32 snaps against the 49ers in Week 12.
Bullough will log a second straight start in place of Lavonte Davis (knee) on Sunday against the 49ers, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
The second-year linebacker logged a pair of solo tackles against the Giants in David's stead in Week 11, and he'll get another crack at a starting assignment Sunday. Bullough will have a challenge on his hands in pass coverage, considering tight end George Kittle will likely be even more involved than usual with the 49ers down both Marquise Goodwin (personal) and Pierre Garcon (knee) in the receiving corps.
Bullough will start at weakside linebacker in place of the injured Lavonte David (knee) on Sunday against the Giants, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Bullough has appeared in just six career games, totaling three tackles during his young career. The Buccaneers are dealing with a handful of injuries at linebacker, lending additional opportunities for an inexperienced replacement like Bullough.
