Shatley re-signed with a one-year deal with Jacksonville on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Shatley will return to Jacksonville for his eighth season with the team. The swing interior lineman has proved to be a durable member of the team's offensive line, starting 25 games throughout his seven seasons, and will likely resume a reserve role in 2021.
Shatley signed a one-year, $1.51 million contract with the Jaguars on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Shatley will be back for a seventh season in Jacksonville after first joining the club as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He didn't start a game in 2019 and will likely remain in a reserve role for 2020 so long as the Jaguars offensive line is relatively healthy.
Shatley officially re-signed with the Jaguars on Friday, John Oehser of the team's official website reports.
Shatley became an unrestricted agent March 13 after spending his first five seasons in Jacksonville. He has been a durable member of the Jaguars' offensive line having been active for all 16 regular-season games each of the previous three seasons. A swing interior lineman, he has started 15 of a possible 62 games during his tenure with the team, including a career-high seven starts at last year.
The Jaguars exercised Shatley's team option for 2018 on Tuesday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Shatley has started four games each of the past two seasons, including a three-game stint at center in 2017 when Brandon Linder was sidelined with an illness. He logged 384 snaps last season.
