Wile was cut by the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website reports.
The Cardinals cut Wile in favor of veteran punter Andy Lee. He will now look for a new opportunity elsewhere.
Wile was signed a week ago to fill in for the injured Matt Bosher, who now appears to be healed from a hamstring injury. Wile averaged 58.0 yards per punt in his performance Sunday.
The move seems to indicate that punter Matt Bosher may be dealing with a long-term injury, although no news of the sort has been announced. Kicker Matt Bryant was forced to punt against the Eagles a few times in Week 10, prompting the Falcons to bring in Wile. The 24-year-old has spent time with the Panthers and Cowboys since coming into the league, but he has never recorded a punt in the regular season.
