Bailey (foot) will spend training camp competing for a spot on the Buccaneers' 53-man roster, Greg Auman of the Athletic reports.
Bailey managed to survive the final roster cut with Tampa Bay in 2019, but a broken foot caused him to hit injured reserve Week 6. Now healthy, he'll get a shot to compete for the top backup spot at guard during training camp.
Bailey (foot) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Eduardo Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Bailey broke his foot Thursday, triggering the move. Nate Trewyn was added to the 53-man roster off of the practice squad in a corresponding move, and he will become a depth option along the Buccaneers' interior offensive line.
Bailey (foot) will not travel with the team to London for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Bailey's absence hurts the Buccaneers depth along the interior offensive line, but it does not effect the starting unit charged with protecting Jameis Winston.
