Demps (arm) left Sunday's game against the Steelers and did not return,
Demps recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) over the first two weeks, and now he'll have a short week to get back to full health ahead of Thursday's matchup with the Packers. Keep an eye on him throughout the week, and expect Deandre Houston-Carson to fill in if Demps can't play.
Demps recorded seven stops in Sunday's defeat to the Buccaneers.
The Bears played most of this contest with a significant deficit, allowing Demps to take advantage of obvious running situations, as he posted solid tackle numbers. With Chicago suffering from a weak offense, he could become a strong IDP option, especially in games that the team's expected to be trailing.
Goldman posted three tackles along with a sack in Sunday's 29-7 defeat to the Buccaneers.
Despite the game being a blowout loss, Jameis Winston still dropped back 30 times to pass, and Goldman was able to record his first sack of the season. Although he struggled to stay healthy during the first two years of his career, should he be able to stay on the field, he has upside as an IDP option at defensive tackle.
Demps (hamstring) doesn't appear on the injury report ahead of Saturday's preseason game against the Cardinals.
Demps, who finished the 2016 campaign with a hamstring injury, is expected to slide in as a starting safety in the Bears' secondary after leading his entire position with six interceptions last season. Meanwhile, the fight for the first-string gig next to him will likely come down to the wire between Adrian Amos and rookie Eddie Jackson.
Demps was a special teams ace early in his career until breaking out as a playmaker in the secondary over the last four years, when he generated 18 takeaways. He's coming off a career year in which he intercepted six passes in 2016, and he'll likely be paired up as a starting safety with Adrian Amos. He's looking like an upside pick at the safety position in IDP leagues.
