Toews scored a goal, dished an assist, went plus-2 and added two PIM in Monday's 3-1 win over the Flyers. Toews set up Erik Gustafsson on the opening tally just 1:44 into the game. A few minutes later, Toews tallied what stood as the game-winning goal. The center has two multi-point efforts in his last four games after posting just four such games through the first six months of the campaign. He's at 12 goals, 37 points, 123 shots on net, 39 PIM and a minus-14 rating through 69 appearances.

Toews scored a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Stars. Toews gave the Blackhawks their only lead of the game in the first period, though it lasted all of 2:21. He snapped a four-game point drought with the goal, though he's generally been more consistent lately than he was early in the season. The 33-year-old center has 11 tallies, 30 points, 111 shots on net and a minus-12 rating in 61 contests overall.

The second-line center is up to 29 points, 99 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 56 appearances this season, though his recent play makes him an intriguing DFS option if he can stay hot.

  • Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: Two-point effort Saturday

Towes scored a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Golden Knights. He had a hand in Chicago's first two goals of the afternoon en route to a 3-0 lead by the end of the second period, but things completely fell apart for the club over the final 20-plus minutes. Toews has had a rough season, but he's looked more like himself since returning from the concussion that cost him a couple games in January and all of February. Over 12 games in March, the 33-year-old has five goals and nine points.

  • Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: Pots goal in loss

Toews scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Jets. Toews tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, and Dylan Strome gave the Blackhawks a lead just 23 seconds later, but the Jets roared back soon after. This was Toews' fourth goal in his last six games -- he's doubled his season total in that span. The 33-year-old is up to 25 points, 88 shots on net and a minus-9 rating in 52 contests. He shouldn't see much change in his scoring pace with Brandon Hagel swapped to the Lightning for Taylor Raddysh, who has found a home on the second line with Toews.

  • Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: Just shy of Gordie Howe hat trick

Toews scored twice and picked up a fighting major in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Senators. The goals were sweet, but we all held our breath during the fight. Toews came out on the losing end in the tilt with Zach Sanford and took a couple hard fists to the head. He missed the month of February due to a concussion and has only been back six games. Sunday morning may tell the tale based on those hits to the head. That aside, Toews has points in each of his last three games (three goals, one assist). It's a modest streak but a streak nonetheless. And that's significant for a once-great forward who has scuffled mightily since missing a full season to illness.

Toews has cleared the NHL's concussion protocol and could be ready to return as soon as Thursday versus the Oilers, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. • Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: Moved to IR

Toews (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports. Toews has been out since Jan. 26, so his placement on IR doesn't prevent him from returning anytime he's deemed ready. It's safe to rule the veteran center out for Friday's game against visiting Dallas, but he's been skating and could return soon if his concussion symptoms subside.

  • Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: Takes quick twirl on ice

Toews (concussion) skated briefly Thursday but primarily worked out off ice, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicagoreports. With Toews still not practicing with the team and the Hawks entering a back-to-back versus Columbus and Dallas on Thursday and Friday, respectively, fantasy players can probably safely expect the veteran center to miss at least two more contests. In fact, at this point, the team may opt to hold Toews out until after its upcoming four-day break, though no official timeline has been announced by the club.

Toews (concussion) will be sidelined against the Canucks on Monday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports. Toews will be out of action for his second straight match due to a concussion suffered versus the Red Wings on Jan. 26. While the veteran hasn't been officially ruled out, it seems unlikely at this point that he will be available versus Minnesota on Wednesday either. Dylan Strome has been given the first crack at Toews' spot on the first line, though Kirby Dach could be in contention as well depending on how long Toews is on the shelf.

Toews has been placed in the NHL's concussion protocols Friday. At this point, Toews should be expected to miss at least Friday's clash with Colorado. In 43 games this season, the 33-year-old center has tallied four goals and 15 helpers, including four power-play points. Without Toews in the lineup, Henrik Borgstrom could be in line to move into the second-line center role.
