Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Skating on his own
Duclair (leg) has begun skating on his own, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reported Friday.
Duclair suffered a leg injury Oct. 19 against the Canadiens and was given a 4-6 week timeframe for his return. Saturday will mark the six-week mark and Duclair has yet to resume practicing with the Islanders. Duclair had a pair of goals and an assist in five NHL games before his injury.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Placed on long-term injured reserve
Duclair (leg) was placed on long-term injured reserve Saturday, retroactive to Oct. 19.
Duclair's recovery was set for 4-6 weeks by the Islanders on Thursday, so moving to LTIR won't impact his timetable. The 29-year-old winger has two goals and an assist in five games this season. Look for a late November or early December return to the lineup for Duclair.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Set to miss 4-6 weeks
Duclair (leg) will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks, the Islanders announced Thursday.
Duclair was already expected to be out long-term but the team has now given a more concrete recovery timeline for the winger. At this point, the 29-year-old Quebec native could be close to returning to action come early December. Prior to getting hurt, Duclair was putting together a decent start to the year with two goals and one assist in his first five appearances. Simon Holmstrom is getting the first crack at a top-six role with Duclair on the shelf.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Suffers long-term injury
Duclair (leg) is dealing with a long-term injury, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports Monday.
Duclair requires more testing to determine an exact timetable for his return. The Islanders expect to know more about the 29-year-old forward's status Tuesday. Duclair had two goals, one assist, eight shots on net and two hits in five outings before getting injured in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over Montreal. Anders Lee may replace Duclair on the top line, while Simon Holmstrom could receive additional power-play time.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Exits contest with leg injury
Duclair sustained an apparent leg injury in Saturday's game versus the Canadiens, and there was no update on his status from head coach Patrick Roy after the game, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Duclair suffered the injury in the third period and was unable to return to the game. He didn't put any weight on his right leg while receiving assistance to get off the ice. The 29-year-old winger has earned three points through five appearances in a top-line role with the Islanders, so his absence would be a significant one if he's forced to miss time. The Islanders' next clash is Tuesday versus the Red Wings.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Scores third-period goal
Duclair scored a goal on three shots while posting a plus-2 rating in Monday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche.
Duclair has found the back of the net in two of his first three games with the Isles, and while it's early in the season, he's certainly making his presence felt as a top-six forward after signing a four-year contract with the team in the offseason. He's up to three points in his first three games of the campaign, and he'll likely continue staking on the first line alongside Bo Horvat and Mathew Barzal, which should give him plenty of opportunities to keep producing.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Solid effort in debut
Duclair scored a power-play goal and added an assist in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to Utah.
Duclair was able to get on the scoresheet twice in his first game with his new club, but it wasn't enough to propel the Isles to victory. The Quebec native has been a journeyman throughout his NHL career, but he looks to have found some stability after securing a four-year contract with the Islanders in July. Duclair's career-high mark in points (58) came with Florida during the 2021-22 campaign, and that number could be within reach playing on the top line with Mathew Barzal and Bo Horvat. Duclair and the Islanders will look to rebound against Dallas on Saturday.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Notches three points Friday
Duclair recorded one goal, four shots and two assists in Friday's 5-2 preseason win over the Rangers.
Duclair closed out the scoring in the final stages of the third period, but he also had a hand in the Isles' third and fourth goals by setting up Maxim Tsyplakov's power-play marker and Mathew Barzal's strike. Duclair signed a four-year, $14 million contract with the Islanders in free agency, so he figures to play a prominent role offensively as a top-six forward.

Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Secures four-year contract
Duclair agreed to terms on a four-year, $14 million contract with the Islanders on Monday.
Duclair split the 2023-24 campaign between the Sharks and the Lightning, logging 73 regular-season games in which he garnered 24 goals and 18 assists, including 12 power-play points. Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Duclair is far from a lock to secure top-six minutes, though he should at least have a role with the No. 2 power play. If he can break into the top six and sneak onto the top power-play unit, Duclair could push for the 30-goal threshold.

Duclair scored a goal in a 4-2 loss to Washington on Saturday.
Duclair got back on the scoresheet after missing one game with an illness. Duclair has seven goals and six assists in 15 games as a member of the Lightning. He has 23 tallies and 17 helpers in 71 games between Tampa and San Jose this campaign. This marks the fourth time in his career that he has reached the 40-point plateau in a season.

Lightning's Anthony Duclair: Continues to shine
Duclair picked up a goal on one shot in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks.
The Ducks were up 1-0 halfway through the game until Duclair broke the goose egg for the Lightning and put a wrist shot into the back of the net for his 21st of the season. He also added two hits and two blocked shots in 16:17 of ice time. Duclair has been on fire of late. The 28-year winger is on a nine-game point streak, scoring eight goals and adding six assists over that span. If Duclair is on the waiver wire, fantasy managers may want to consider picking him up for the playoffs.

He gave them their first lead Tuesday with a go-ahead goal in the first period. The winger is up to 32 points, 108 shots on net, 39 hits and a minus-8 rating through 60 appearances between the Lightning and the Sharks this season, but he's clearly trending upward.

Lightning's Anthony Duclair: Big impact in debut
Duclair had a goal and an assist in a 7-0 win over the Flyers on Saturday.
The Tampa Bay crowd got right into it, chanting 'Duke' several times as he hit the ice in his Lightning debut. And he delivered -- he tapped in an easy goal at the left post off a backdoor pass from Steven Stamkos. Duclair's speed was electric throughout the contest. He makes for a great fantasy pickup now that he has switched coasts. Duclair has 10 points (six goals, four assists) in his past five games.

Lightning's Anthony Duclair: Heading east in trade
Duclair and a seventh-round pick in 2025 were traded from the Sharks to the Lightning on Thursday in exchange for Jack Thompson and a third-round pick in 2024.
Duclair had an unimpressive first half of the campaign, but he's bounced back with 10 points over 10 contests since the start of February. The move gives the Lightning a boost to their middle six and power play, especially given Duclair's speed and scoring ability. The 28-year-old may be available to play Saturday versus the Flyers.

Sharks' Anthony Duclair: Four-point effort goes to waste
Duclair scored twice on the power play and added two assists in Tuesday's 7-6 overtime loss to the Stars.
Duclair has erupted on offense with five goals and three assists over his last four outings. The winger helped the Sharks build a 5-3 lead through two periods, but they couldn't hold off the Stars' comeback. Duclair is up to 16 goals, 27 points (10 on the power play), 98 shots on net, 28 PIM and a minus-12 rating through 56 appearances. His recent surge has earned him top-line minutes, though he'd likely end up in a middle-six role if the Sharks trade him away before Friday's deadline.
