Karl Stollery: Signs with KHL club
Stollery agreed to terms on a contract with Dinamo Riga of the KHL on Wednesday.
Given the young talent on the Devils' blue line, it is not surprising that Stollery will head overseas, where he'll likely see significantly more ice time. The 29-year-old played in just 11 outings for New Jersey this season, tallying three helpers and a minus-5 rating. It seems likely that the Alberta native would have spent the bulk of the upcoming NHL campaign in the minors, so the move to Russia probably makes more sense at this point in his career.

Devils' Karl Stollery: Sent back to AHL
Stollery was reassigned to AHL Albany on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old blueliner was originally called up on an emergency basis since Miles Wood and Damon Severson were both going to miss time. With both players healthy now, Stollery's extra depth is no longer necessary in New Jersey. He played one game against Columbus, firing four shots on goal and recording a minus-2 rating.

Devils' Karl Stollery: Called up Sunday
Stollery was recalled on an emergency basis Sunday, Chris Ryan of NJ.com reports.
The blueliner has a decent three points in 10 games in the NHL this year to go along with his 14 points in 44 AHL contests. With Miles Wood (lower body) and Damon Severson (upper body) missing time, Stollery was needed to add some depth to the roster.

Devils' Karl Stollery: Reassigned to AHL
Stollery was reassigned to the AHL's Albany Devils on Tuesday.
The defenseman's recall lasted all of one full day, as he was brought up prior to Monday's win over Buffalo. The fact that Stollery is being demoted likely means that Kyle Quincey (upper body) is ready to return to the lineup.

Stollery was called up from AHL Albany on Monday, Andrew Gross of the Record reports.
With Kyle Quincey (illness) missing Monday's game against Buffalo, the Devils needed another defenseman. Even though Stollery was sent down Sunday, he was the man called up. With three points in nine games in the NHL, the inexperienced blueliner has had a decent season.

Despite being sent down to get some additional game action, Stollery was unused by Albany over the weekend. What that means for the defenseman's status Tuesday when New Jersey face off against Detroit remains to be seen. Youngster Steve Santini figures to be Stollery's primary competition for a spot in the game-day lineup.

Stollery was sent down to AHL Albany on Thursday.
The 29-year-old has been in the NHL for under a month, but he has started to make his mark on the Devils' power play, with three assists in seven games, all coming off the man advantage. When that is combined with his 11 PIM and 12 hits, he could find a niche in deep leagues where such stats carry weight. With the All-Star break this weekend, it's likely that Stollery was sent down to stay active and will be recalled when the weekend is through.

Devils' Karl Stollery: Receives promotion
Stollery was summoned to the Devils on Tuesday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
Stollery is still waiting to debut with New Jersey. The big bosses running the Devils scooped him up as an unrestricted free agent this summer, awarding him a one-year contract valued at $575,000 and with $220,000 guaranteed. His moving up to the NHL this late in the season suggests that he needs to add some polish to his game; in fact, we'd be surprised if he ever secures a full-time role at hockey's highest level, considering that he's been involved in AHL play since the 2011-12 campaign. As a depth player, he's not likely to make much of an impact in the fantasy realm.

Stollery was recalled from the team's AHL Albany affiliate Monday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Stollery hasn't seen NHL game action since 2014 but will join a relatively weak defense group that could afford him an opportunity to stick with the club. The blueliner has yet to tally a point in 12 career NHL games.
