  • Maple Leafs' Tyler Gaudet: Loaned to AHL affiliate

The Maple Leafs loaned Gaudet to AHL Toronto on Thursday. Gaudet was promoted to serve as an insurance policy in case Auston Matthews (wrist) was unavailable for Monday's matchup with Nashville, but Matthews was ultimately able to go, so the Leafs are no longer in need of the 26-year-old's services up front. He'll return to a prominent role with the Marlies, where he's notched 13 points in 39 games this campaign.

  • Maple Leafs' Tyler Gaudet: Promoted to big club

The Maple Leafs recalled Gaudet from AHL Toronto on Sunday. Gaudet signed a two-way contract with Toronto during the offseason, and he's spent the entire season in the minors. The 26-year-old has posted 13 points over 39 AHL games. His recall is likely because Auston Matthews (wrist) is injured, but if Matthews is good to go, Gaudet isn't expected to play Monday versus the Predators.

  • Maple Leafs' Tyler Gaudet: Signs with Toronto

Gaudet signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Gaudet spent the entirety of the 2018-19 campaign with AHL Milwaukee, notching eight goals and 25 points in 50 games. The 26-year-old forward will likely stick with Toronto's minor-league affiliate for most, if not all of the upcoming season, so there's no reason for fantasy owners to keep tabs on him.

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: Sent to bus league

The Predators reassigned Gaudet to AHL Milwaukee on Friday. Gaudet hasn't appeared in an NHL contest since 2016, so this move doesn't come as a surprise. He'll return to a prominent role with Milwaukee, where he's notched 23 points in 41 appearances this campaign.

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: Returned to AHL affiliate

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: Brought up to NHL

Gaudet was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Thursday. Gaudet has compiled five goals and nine assists over 27 games for the Admirals this season, but he hasn't appeared in an NHL contest since the Coyotes rolled him out for four games in the 2016-17 season. He's merely an organizational depth option with Colton Sissons currently bogged down by a lower-body injury.

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: Scores 5-on-3 shortie

Gaudet scored a short-handed goal in a 5-on-3 situation for AHL Milwaukee on Tuesday. After the defenseman couldn't keep the puck in the zone, Gaudet outraced him to the puck and then beat the netminder for the rare 5-on-3 shortie. It was just the first game of the season for the Admirals, but Gaudet definitely put the Predators on notice with his impressive performance that included four shots on net.

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: One of four sent to minors

Gaudet was reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Sunday. Making the trip with Gaudet will be Emil Pettersson, Brandon Bollig and Frederic Allard. The four players were recalled to get a feel for playoff hockey at the highest level and be injury relief in desperate measures, but none of them were expected to slot into the lineup by their own worth.

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: Secures one-year deal

Gaudet inked a one-year, two-way contract with Nashville on Monday. Gaudet was acquired by the Predators at the trade deadline in an exchange of minor-league players, but evidently did enough to earn another year with the organization. In 69 AHL outings, the center notched 13 goals and 15 helpers, his best numbers since joining the professional ranks. Given the glut of talent Nashville has down the middle of the lineup, the 25-year-old will likely spend the bulk of the 2018-19 campaign with AHL Milwaukee.

  • Predators' Tyler Gaudet: Headed to Nashville

Gaudet was traded Monday along with John Ramage from Arizona to Nashville in exchange for Pierre-Cedric Labrie and Trevor Murphy. This swap of minor leaguers broke late on deadline day, and Gaudet will stay in the minors after the transaction. The 24-year-old has notched four points in 20 career NHL games but hasn't made an appearance this season. With Nashville acquiring Ryan Hartman and officially signing Mike Fisher on Monday, its forward group has plenty of depth, so Gaudet may not be needed with the big club down the stretch.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Hits waivers

Gaudet was placed on waivers Monday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. A gritty forward with great size, Gaudet has gotten into 20 NHL games, but has spent the vast majority of his three-year professional career in the AHL to this point. Should Gaudet clear waivers, he will likely be reassigned to AHL Tucson.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Commands one-year, two-way extension

Gaudet signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Coyotes on Saturday, Craig Morgan of Arizona Sports reports. The 24-year-old center will make $650,000 in the NHL or $85,000 at the minor-league level. Gaudet's contract also includes $110,000 in guaranteed salary. With a new deal in place, the Ontario native can challenge for a bottom-six role in training camp this fall. Last season, he generated six goals and 16 assists in 62 games with AHL Tucson, and also picked up a helper over four games at the highest level.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Sent down to AHL

Gaudet was assigned to AHL Tucson on Sunday. With the Coyotes claiming Josh Jooris, room needed to be made and Gaudet was the unlucky man. He has only played four games while bouncing between the minors and NHL, but he did notch his first point in Saturday's game. He will likely be the first man up if the Coyotes' injury situation gets even worse.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Called up to parent club

Gaudet was called up from AHL Tuscon on Friday. The 'Yotes had an open roster spot with Brad Richardson (leg) on injured reserve. Gaudet's a decent low-end scoring pivot, having picked up two goals and five assists in 12 games with the Roadrunners this season, but he'll be off the map in fantasy until landing a more substantial role.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Sent back to AHL

Gaudet was shipped back to AHL Tuscon on Monday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports. Gaudet was recalled as a contingency plan for Sunday's contest, but wasn't needed and the has been subsequently demoted back to the club's AHL affiliate. He's had a decent early-season run in the minors this season, notching seven points in 11 games, but it's unlikely he will make a major impact at the top level this season.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Promoted to NHL

Gaudet was brought up to the parent club Saturday. Gaudet is needed with fellow forward Laurent Dauphin (undisclosed) ailing ahead of Sunday's road tilt with the Oilers. There's not much to look at here, as the young centerman has just 17 NHL games under his belt, plus he's yet to record a positive rating in two seasons and running between the 'Yotes and their top minor-league affiliate.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Returns to AHL

Gaudet was reassigned to the minors Wednesday. Gaudet logged 13:10 of ice time in his one-game stint in the majors and was a minus-1. The center will head back to Tucson where he has notched two goals and a trio of helpers through the first eight matchup of the year. Given their depth down the middle in Arizona, it seems like the 23-year-old will spend the majority of the 2016-17 campaign in the AHL further developing his game.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Brought up from AHL

Gaudet was recalled from the minors Monday, Gaudet has two goals and three assists through the first eight contests of the year with AHL Tucson. Undrafted coming out of juniors, the center logged 14 games for the Yotes last season in which he averaged 10:36 of ice time and came away with three points. If he plays Tuesday against the Avalanche, the 23-year-old has probably not shown enough to warrant a spot on in most fantasy lineups.

Gaudet was sent back to the AHL on Monday, Craig Morgan of the Arizona Republic reports. Arizona was busy on Monday and picked up several depth forwards at the trade deadline. Gaudet was sent down to Springfield to open up room on the roster. The 22-year-old has spent most of the season in the AHL, but played 12 games for the Coyotes, registering a goal and two assists.

  • Coyotes' Tyler Gaudet: Notches first goal of the season in win

Gaudet scored his first goal on two shots and added two hits in a 6-3 win over the Stars on Thursday. In his fifth game since being called back up from AHL Springfield, Gaudet tallied his first goal of the season. The goal also puts the 22-year-old on a two-game point streak. With center Boyd Gordon still reportedly being weeks away from returning, this may be time for Gaudet to show that he's got what it takes to make it at the NHL level.
