Lemieux, in his first game back from a five-game suspension for biting Brady Tkachuk on Nov. 27, deposited the game-winner for the Kings at 9:15 of the third period. The Wild showed their displeasure by giving him a spray from the water bottles as he passed the bench. Lemieux isn't known for much offense, but he's up to five goals, an assist, 40 hits, 32 PIM and 20 shots on net through 15 appearances. Lemieux was ejected from Saturday's game against Ottawa after coming to the aid of a teammate, and he was later accused of biting the Senators' Brady Tkachuk, reports Sportsnet.ca.
Tkachuk went off after game, calling Lemieux "a complete brick head." Lemieux had jumped into the fray when Tkachuk began shoving Blake Lizotte following a whistle. Tkachuk showed his bloody hand to the officials when he was heading to the penalty box. The two have a history and so do their fathers.
