Tommy Vannelli: Not tendered qualifying offer
Vannelli won't receive a qualifying offer from the Blues and will become a free agent, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
The Blues selected Vannelli in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft, but he's spent a majority of his time in the ECHL. With a ton of promising prospects headed to St. Louis, the Blues will focus their efforts elsewhere.

Blues' Tommy Vannelli: Called up Sunday
Vannelli was called up to the NHL on Sunday.
If the 22-year-old slots into the lineup for Game 1 against Nashville, he would be a rare case where he makes his NHL debut during the playoffs. With no NHL experience, it's hard to predict what he could do, but with 19 points in 46 ECHL games this year, don't expect an offensive stud.
