  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Six-game, nine-point streak

Stutzle recorded an assist Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to the Lightning. He has nine points (two goals, seven assists) during a six-game streak. Overall, Stutzle has 54 points (17 goals, 37 assists) and 110 shots in 54 games this season. If he continues at this pace, Stutzle will record the second-best season of his NHL career. His best year came in 2022-23, when he put up 39 goals and 90 points in 78 games.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Racks up three points

Stutzle scored a goal on three shots, dished two power-play assists and added four PIM in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Wild. Stutzle played a central role in the win. He had the Senators' second goal of the game, and he drew a match penalty on Ryan Hartman at the end of the second period after multiple previous clashes earlier in the game. Hartman checked Stutzle's head into the ice at the end of the second, but Stutzle came back stitched up and helped out on two goals during the ensuing power play to begin the third. The German has two goals and five helpers over his last four contests, and he's up to 17 goals, 35 assists, 105 shots on net, 82 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 52 appearances this season.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Two assists Sunday

Stutzle recorded two assists and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over Utah. Stutzle recorded points in consecutive games for the first time since a Jan. 11 and Jan. 12 back-to-back set when he notched goals in wins over Pittsburgh and Dallas. The 23-year-old has been slumping of late and has recorded a mere eight points (four goals, four assists) over 14 appearances in January. He's certainly capable of producing at a better rate than that, as evidenced earlier in the season when he began the year with 10 goals and 26 helpers over 28 contests.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Gets goal, but pace has slowed

Stutzle picked up a goal Saturday in a 2-1 win over Toronto. It was his 16th of the season. Stutzle has scuffled with just six points, including four goals, and 26 shots in his last 14 games. That skid has dropped his pace from a 94-point pace to a 77-point one. Stutzle is better than the latter, but maybe not quite as good as the former. We expect his offensive game to warm up soon -- Stutzle is too good for this slump to continue much longer.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Two-point effort against Boston

Stutzle delivered an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over the Bruins. His biggest contribution didn't appear in the box score, as Stutzle had the only successful attempt in the shootout, out-waiting Jeremy Swayman before calmly flipping the puck over the sprawling netminder. This was Stutzle's first multi-point performance since Dec. 11, ending a sluggish stretch that had seen the 23-year-old center manage just four goals and seven points in his prior 16 games.

Stutzle scored a goal, added two PIM, logged three hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Penguins. Stutzle had the Senators' fifth goal of the contest, which chased Alex Nedeljkovic. The tally was Stutzle's first in six games, and he had been limited to one helper over his previous five outings. Stutzle scored a power-play goal on four shots and added two hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets. Stutzle converted his first power-play goal since Opening Night. He had just one tally with the man advantage last year as well -- he often plays more of a facilitating role on the power play. The German star has 12 goals, 28 assists, 15 power-play points, 73 shots on net, 54 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 35 appearances this season.

Stutzle provided an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canucks. Stutzle set up the game-winning goal in overtime for the second contest in a row, this time feeding Jake Sanderson just 13 seconds into the extra session. The 22-year-old Stutzle hasn't been explosive on offense over the last week, but he's been timely. For the season, the center is up to 39 points (11 goals, 28 helpers), 66 shots on net, 52 hits, 23 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 33 appearances.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Sets up overtime tally

Stutzle logged an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flames. Stutzle set up Brady Tkachuk's goal 55 seconds into overtime. The 22-year-old Stutzle has a goal and eight assists over nine outings in December, though he has three scoreless appearances this month. The center is up to 11 goals, 27 helpers, 65 shots on net, 52 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 32 contests. Stutzle is poised to take a run at his career high of 90 points from 2022-23, though he's mostly doing work with playmaking this year compared to the 39 goals he had in that campaign.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Contributes two power-play assists

Stutzle logged two power-play assists in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Ducks. Stutzle has had a pair of helpers in three straight contests. That's helped to soften the blow of a five-game goal drought, one game shy of his longest scoring slump of the campaign. The 22-year-old is up to 10 goals, 26 helpers, 56 shots on net, 50 hits, 22 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 28 appearances. Stutzle has a 39-goal campaign to his name, but he's also topped 50 assists in each of the last two years, so don't underestimate his playmaking skill.

Stutzle recorded two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Islanders. Stutzle participated in the build-up of both goals Sunday, but his efforts were not enough to lift Ottawa to victory. The 22-year-old playmaker has been productive of late and has cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his previous 10 appearances, with three goals and 10 helpers, including four on the power play, in that span.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Dishes pair of helpers

Stutzle notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Predators. Stutzle's seven-game point streak ended in a 2-1 win over the Red Wings on Thursday. He didn't take long to get back on the scoresheet, setting up tallies by Jacob Bernard-Docker and Claude Giroux in the second period of Saturday's contest. Stutzle is cruising at an elite level this season with 10 tallies, 22 helpers, 55 shots on net, 49 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 26 appearances, putting him on pace for a career high in points.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Six-game, eight-point streak

Stutzle scored a goal Saturday in a 5-2 loss against Los Angeles. The goal extended his point streak to six games. He has three goals and five assists during that span. Stutzle has collected 10 goals and 29 points through 23 outings. His 20.4 shooting percentage is well above his career average of 13.3, so his goal pace may slow. Still, Stutzle is trending toward his first 100-point season and could top 150 hits for the first time, too. He needs to work on faceoffs, but his category coverage has been impressive in 2024-25.

  • Senators' Tim Stutzle: Sets team record for goals

Stutzle scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Vancouver. Stutzle is the first player in Senators history to score 100 NHL goals before his 23rd birthday. He has nine goals, 15 assists and 44 shots in 20 games so far, and that pace puts Stutzle on course for a 98-point season. His 20.5 shooting percentage is abnormally high, so his goal pace may slow, but a near triple-digit point total is fantasy elite.

That's good enough to push him into a multi-player tie for eighth overall on the NHL scoring list. Stutzle's best season came in 2022-23, but at this rate, he'll smash his 90-point career mark.
