  • Jean-Luc Foudy: Released from tryout

Foudy was released from his professional tryout by the Wild, the team announced Sunday. Foudy will report to AHL Iowa's training camp for a chance to earn a job with that squad. Last year in the Avalanche's organization, the 23-year-old spent the entirety of the campaign with AHL Colorado, notching 19 points in 48 regular-season games.

Foudy took nine shifts and had 4:33 of ice time in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers. Foudy was called up to replace Valeri Nichushkin (lower body) in the lineup. Foudy was limited to fourth-line duty in just his second NHL game this season.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Recalled from AHL

Foudy was called up from AHL Colorado on Thursday. Foudy scored a goal in his only NHL game of the season, back on March 6. He was recalled as the Avalanche have only 11 healthy forwards, as Valeri Nichushkin is questionable with a lower-body injury. Foudy had three goals and nine points in 18 AHL games before his recall.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Sent back to minors

Foudy was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Thursday. Foudy made his season debut for the Avs in Wednesday's matchup with Detroit, scoring a goal on two shots in 10:54 of ice time. His reward for a strong performance is being shipped back to the minors, as his promotion was necessitated by some trade deadline moves. Still, with Chris Wagner (upper body) and Logan O'Connor (lower body) both dealing with injuries, Foudy could be brought back up ahead of Friday's clash with Minnesota.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Up from minors

Foudy was summoned from AHL Colorado on Wednesday. Foudy has two goals and six points in 12 AHL contests this season. He might draw into the lineup Wednesday versus Detroit due to Logan O'Connor (lower body) being unavailable.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Activated, sent to AHL

Foudy was activated off non-roster injured reserve and reassigned to AHL Colorado on Thursday. Foudy appeared in nine contests with the Avalanche in 2022-23, recording no points, six PIM, 12 shots, two hits and two blocks. With AHL Colorado, he provided 11 goals and 36 points in 46 outings last year. The 21-year-old might get a chance to play with the Avalanche this season, but after missing the first three months of the campaign, he likely will need time in the minors to shake off the rust before the Avalanche will regard him as a serious option.

Foudy was reassigned to AHL Colorado following Saturday's 3-1 win over the Predators. Foudy saw just 5:02 of ice time Saturday. Darren Helm (adductor) is getting closer to a return, but it's unclear if Foudy will be called up again before the Avalanche's next game Monday versus the Islanders.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Makes NHL debut

Foudy had three shots on goal and a two penalty minutes over 12:11 of ice time in Tuesday's 5-0 loss to Winnipeg. Foudy was called up from AHL Colorado and made his NHL debut. The 20-year-old skated on the third line, which also included AHL-callup Alex Galchenyuk. Tuesday's game was the first of four games on the road, so Foudy should remain in the lineup for the next week. The Avalanche next travel to Buffalo for a Thursday encounter with the Sabres.
