Top Jean-Luc Foudy News

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Reassigned Saturday

Foudy was reassigned to AHL Colorado following Saturday's 3-1 win over the Predators.

Foudy saw just 5:02 of ice time Saturday. Darren Helm (adductor) is getting closer to a return, but it's unclear if Foudy will be called up again before the Avalanche's next game Monday versus the Islanders.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Available to play

Foudy (lower body) is expected to play Wednesday versus the Bruins, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

It appeared earlier Wednesday that Foudy would miss a second game, but it's all hands on deck for a banged up Colorado team. The 20-year-old has yet to record a point in three contests this season. He'll play in a bottom-six role.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Still day-to-day

Foudy (lower body) remains day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Bruins, NHL.com's Adam Kimelan reports.

Foudy will miss a second straight contest with his lower-body issue. The 20-year-old rookie has yet to record a point through three top-level appearances this year, so fantasy managers shouldn't need to keep tabs on his status.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Unavailable versus Flyers

Foudy won't play Monday against Philadelphia due to a lower-body injury, Kyle Fredrickson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Foudy, who is listed as day-to-day, has posted six shots on goal, one block and one hit in three games with the Avalanche this year. He will be replaced in the lineup by Charles Hudon, who was called up from the AHL on Sunday.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Gets TOI on top line

Foudy had three shots on goal, one blocked shot and four PIM over 12:02 of ice time in Saturday's 5-1 loss to Boston.

He moved up to the first line for a stretch after Artturi Lehkonen left with an upper-body injury late in the first period. Foudy filled in on the top line for the second period before Alex Newhook got most of the minutes on the line with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen in the final period. It's not yet known if Lehkonen's injury will prevent him from suiting up Monday in Philadelphia for the finale of a four-game road trip. Foudy took an ill-advised penalty early in the third period that wiped out a potential power play when the Avs still had a puncher's chance, down 3-0.

  • Avalanche's Jean-Luc Foudy: Makes NHL debut

Foudy had three shots on goal and a two penalty minutes over 12:11 of ice time in Tuesday's 5-0 loss to Winnipeg.

Foudy was called up from AHL Colorado and made his NHL debut. The 20-year-old skated on the third line, which also included AHL-callup Alex Galchenyuk. Tuesday's game was the first of four games on the road, so Foudy should remain in the lineup for the next week. The Avalanche next travel to Buffalo for a Thursday encounter with the Sabres.

Foudy was promoted from AHL Colorado on Monday.

Foudy is expected to be in the lineup for the Avalanche on Tuesday versus Winnipeg. Martin Kaut (illness) won't make the trip with the team. Foudy has five goals and 14 points in 18 AHL games this season.
