Ferguson was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.
With Robin Lehner (upper body) activated from long-term injured reserve, Ferguson's presence at the NHL level is no longer needed. The 22-year-old hasn't drawn into a game for the Golden Knights this season.... See More ... See Less

Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Back to minors
Ferguson was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Sunday, CBS Sports reports.

Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Bumped up to taxi squad
Ferguson was elevated to the taxi squad Thursday.
Ferguson's addition to the taxi squad is likely an indication that the team is not expecting to have Robin Lehner (upper body) available versus Colorado on Saturday. The 29-year-old Ferguson figures to serve as the emergency option behind Marc-Andre Fleury and Oscar Dansk.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Returned to ECHL
Ferguson has been reassigned to the Fort Wayne Comets of the ECHL.
This move was always expected with Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban holding down the top two goaltending spots for the big club. Ferguson will continue to hone his craft in the lower levels for the time being.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Starting versus Coyotes
Ferguson will start against the Coyotes during Sunday's preseason opener, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports.
Ferguson will be backed up by Zach Fucale, who is also expected to log some time in net. The 19-year-old unlikely to make the team out of camp, and he's expected to be sent back to juniors to play for the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. Ferguson posted a .907 save percentage and 2.95 GAA in 59 games for the Blazers last season.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Will serve as third goalie for playoffs
Ferguson was recalled from the WHL's Kamloops Blazers to serve as the third-string goalie for the Golden Knights, Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The Blazers missed the playoffs this season, opening the door for Ferguson return to a Vegas squad that he spent nine games with earlier this season. Ferguson only made one appearance, letting up one goal on two shots during nine minutes of ice. The Golden Knights likely opted for Ferguson over Max Lagace or Oscar Dansk because AHL Chicago is in great position to make a run for the Calder Cup.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Returned to juniors
Ferguson is back with WHL Kamloops, marking the end of his emergency recall by the Golden Knights.
With Malcolm Subban (lower body) activated from injured reserve, NHL rules mandated that Ferguson be sent back to the Blazers, as he was brought in under emergency conditions. The netminder made one relief appearance for Vegas in which he faced two shots on goal, allowing one to find the back of the net. Barring another improbable run of goalie injuries, the youngster will stay in junior for the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Makes NHL debut against Oilers
Ferguson made his NHL debut Tuesday against Edmonton, stopping one of two shots in relief of Max Lagace.
The 19-year-old Ferguson was thrown into the fire midway through the third period after Lagace gave up seven goals on 29 shots. It's hard to fault the youngster on the Mark Letestu goal he allowed, but with Malcolm Subban (lower body) nearing a return, we likely won't see much more of Ferguson this season. The Kamloops native became the fifth goaltender to appear in the Vegas crease this season, as injuries have just piled up for the Golden Knights' netminders. Ferguson has a bright future ahead of him, but expect him to be sent back to the WHL soon, with Lagace seeing the majority of crease time in the meantime.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Called up under emergency conditions
Ferguson was promoted from juniors under emergency conditions Tuesday.
Ferguson's recall comes after the Golden Knights were forced to place Oscar Dansk (lower body) on injured reserve. The expansion organization now has just two healthy netminders under contract in Max Lagace and Ferguson. The 19-year-old will join the team in New York for its matchup with the Rangers. In 13 appearances for WHL Kamloops, the British Columbia native is 4-9-0 with a disappointing 4.05 GAA.... See More ... See Less
Golden Knights' Dylan Ferguson: Signs entry-level deal
Ferguson agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with Vegas on Thursday.
Considering Marc-Andre Fleury is 32 years old and Calvin Pickard was subpar in his only season as a true No. 1, it may not be a stretch to pencil Ferguson in as the heir apparent under the neon lights of the Strip. The netminder returned to juniors earlier in camp and is off to a rough start with WHL Kamloops, as he's 0-2-0 with an .814 save percentage, but should bounce back if his 2016-17 performance is any indication -- he went 16-10-2 with a 2.74 GAA....
