Bratt scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche. Bratt extended his point streak to five games (four goals, two assists) with a second-period tally. He also assisted on a John Marino marker in the third. This was Bratt's first multi-point effort since Dec. 29, but he remains one of the Devils' most effective forwards. On the year, the winger has 20 goals, 52 points, 149 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 48 appearances. • Devils' Jesper Bratt: Records four points Friday

Bratt provided a goal and three assists in a 6-2 win over Ottawa on Friday. Two of Bratt's points -- a goal and an assist -- came with the man advantage. He's up to 14 goals and 42 points in 34 outings this year, including 20 power-play points. He's in position to surpass his career high of 73 points and his special-teams success is the central reason for the 25-year-old's increased production -- going into this campaign, Bratt had never recorded more than 22 power-play points in a single season, but it seems he'll shatter that mark in 2023-24.

  • Devils' Jesper Bratt: Game taking another step forward

Bratt scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-3 win over Pittsburgh on Thursday. Bratt gave the Devils a lead early in the second period that they would never relinquish. While on a 4-on-4, he scored his eighth of the season on a wrist shot from the left circle. Bratt's game has exploded this season -- the winger has eight goals, 14 assists (22 points) in just 15 games. Remarkably, he already has 15 power-play points after putting up 22 in 82 games last season. It's worth noting, though that his 25.0 shooting percentage is almost double his career mark of 13.2. Expect some regression to the mean, at least from a goal-scoring perspective. However, Bratt has become a primetime player and is on track to shatter his career mark of 73 points, which he scored in each of the last two seasons.

  • Devils' Jesper Bratt: Commits to eight-year deal

Bratt, who was eligible to become a restricted free agent this summer, inked an eight-year, $63 million contract with New Jersey on Thursday. Bratt has cemented himself as a critical part of the Devils' core by recording 73 points in each of the last two campaigns. Still just 24 years old, Bratt has the potential to continue to perform at a high level throughout the life of this contract. The Devils also have Nico Hischier and Jack Hughes locked up through at least 2026-27 at cap hits of $7.25 million and $8 million, respectively. With all three of them sticking around, New Jersey should be a force offensively for years to come.
