Roos will report to the AHL with the Blackhawks out of action through the All-Star break. The 24-year-old defenseman has played 15 games with Chicago this season, tallying a goal and two assists while averaging 16:19 TOI. Roos had been a healthy scratch in the Blackhawks' last five contests.

Roos has played in 15 games for the Blackhawks this season in which he registered one goal on 17 shots, two assists and 17 hits while averaging 16:19 of ice time. If Roos does get into a game for Chicago during this current NHL stint, it would likely come at the expense of Ian Mitchell.

Roos was assigned to AHL Rockford on Tuesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Roos has been in and out of the Blackhawks' lineup this season, picking up three points while averaging 16:18 of ice time through 15 games. The 23-year-old rookie will head to the minors for now, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him back with the big club sooner rather than later.
