The Sharks announced over the weekend that Chernyshov is considered week-to-week, so it isn't very surprising to see him land on injured reserve. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but Colin Graf remains a candidate to see an increased role for San Jose in Chernyshov's absence.

Chernyshov finished the regular season hot with his fourth goal over his last four games.
