Felhaber has no points over five contests at the NHL level, and he's seen minimal ice time in a fourth-line role. The 26-year-old could be involved in a paper transaction, but his lack of production could lead to different forwards being called up to fill out the Avalanche's roster for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Felhaber will get another look with the big club -- the Avalanche had only 11 healthy forwards on their roster before recalling the Ontario native. The 26-year-old did not record a point in his only NHL appearance against Vancouver on Dec. 16. Felhaber will most likely fill a fourth-line role.

Felhaber collected 14 goals and 63 points over 51 games with ECHL Fort Wayne last season. He also supplied seven goals and 13 points in 21 appearances with AHL Milwaukee during the 2022-23 campaign. The 25-year-old forward doesn't have NHL experience yet.
