    Cecconi was traded to the Kings from the Wild on Wednesday in exchange for Tyler Madden. Cecconi has not made his NHL debut yet. The 27-year-old defenseman is in his seventh AHL campaign and is on a career-best pace with 14 points over 51 appearances with Iowa. He will link up with AHL Ontario following the trade.

The defenseman was dealt from the Dallas organization to Buffalo on Dec. 15 and spent the remainder of the season with AHL Rochester. Cecconi had three goals and 10 points in 53 AHL games in 2022-23. The 26-year-old has yet to play in the NHL.
