Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Blanks toothless Sharks
Swayman turned aside all 26 shots he faced in Thursday's 3-0 win over San Jose.
The 25-year-old netminder got the perfect opponent to rebound against after he got the hook in his last start, and Swayman cruised to his second shutout of the season. His numbers took a step back in November, but he still posted a 4-1-2 record with a 2.66 GAA and .917 save percentage through eight appearances on the month as Boston maintains its timeshare in the crease between Swayman and Linus Ullmark,

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Pulled early in second period
Swayman allowed two goals on 19 shots in Monday's 5-2 road loss against the Blue Jackets.
Swayman was yanked after Ivan Provorov's goal at 5:38 of the second period, as Boston fell behind 2-0. Head coach Jim Montgomery explained afterward that the quick hook was just because the club had no life as a whole, and he was looking to jump-start the team. It didn't get much better, as the Blue Jackets ended up treating Linus Ullmark equally hard. The B's are back at it on Thursday night against the visiting Sharks.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Downed by Detroit
Swayman stopped 24 of 28 shots in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.
Detroit's final goal was scored into an empty net. Two of the goals against Swayman were scored on power plays, while a third came on an Alex DeBrincat breakaway from the blue line on an uncharacteristically bad day for the Boston defense. It's the first regulation loss of the season for Swayman, who sports a 7-1-2 record with a 2.28 GAA and .927 save percentage.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Faces season-high shots in OT loss
Swayman turned aside 41 of 46 shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Lightning.
It was the first time this season Swayman had given up more than three goals in a start, but it was also the first time he'd faced more than 37 shots as the Boston defense was uncharacteristically porous. The 24-year-old goalie remains undefeated in regulation however, going 7-0-2 through nine starts with a 2.08 GAA and a .933 save percentage. With the Bruins having little reason to shift away from their timeshare in the crease, Linus Ullmark should get the nod Wednesday against the Panthers, while Swayman's next start should come Friday at home against the Red Wings.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Remains undefeated in regulation
Swayman made 20 saves in a 5-2 win over Montreal on Saturday.
Juraj Slafkovsky and Johnny Kovacevic were the only Habs to beat him. The former scored from the bumper, and the latter followed his own shot and somehow pushed it through Swayman on the rebound. The 24-year-old from Anchorage is now 7-0-1 with a 1.73 GAA and .941 save percentage. He and Linus Ullmark form the best tandem in the NHL. Swayman is an auto-start regardless of opponent whenever he's in the blue paint.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Downed in OT by Habs
Swayman made 24 saves in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
The 24-year-old netminder took a shutout into the second intermission, but Montreal struck twice in the first minute of the third period to take the lead, before Kaiden Guhle pounced on a loose puck in OT and snapped it over a screened Swayman. It was Swayman's first loss of the season and the first time he's allowed more than two goals in 2023-24, and his 6-0-1 record is buoyed by a stellar 1.69 GAA and .944 save percentage. Despite those numbers, Boston has little reason to move away from its timeshare in the crease given the success both Linus Ullmark and Swayman have had.

Swayman made 33 saves in a 3-2 shootout win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday.
He gave up two goals from the same spot in the left circle in a span of 1:03 in the middle frame. Swayman couldn't stop Mitchell Marner, who deked Brandon Carlo and wired the puck past the netminder. Then Auston Matthews scored on a one-timer from exactly the same spot a minute later to knot the game 2-2. But Swayman bricked things up from that point on, and only allowed one goal in the shootout. He got the win and remains undefeated in five games (5-0-0) this season.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Set to start Thursday
Swayman is slated to guard the home goal in Thursday's game against Toronto, according to Shawn Hutcheon of The Fourth Period.
Swayman has a 4-0-0 record, 1.26 GAA and .957 save percentage in four starts this season. He's been splitting the workload evenly with Linus Ullmark, and that arrangement has worked out brilliantly for the Bruins -- they've allowed just 1.56 goals per game -- so there isn't any reason to alter it. The Maple Leafs might be a difficult opponent for the Bruins, though. While Toronto has scored a mediocre 3.22 goals per game this year, putting the Maple Leafs in a three-way tie for 14th offensively, the team boasts several high-end forwards capable of making life difficult for Swayman.
