Team news

PSG: Presnel Kimpembe, Sergio Ramos and Nuno Mendes have all been ruled out of this one while Neymar and Julian Draxler will not feature again in 2021 as they continue to recover from their injuries.

ASM: Cesc Fabregas and Benoit Badiashile remain on the mend while Krepin Diatta is also receiving treatment.

Storylines

PSG: Unbeaten in eight domestically, it has not been as smooth as start to the season as results would suggest. A recent thumping of Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League hints that the corner might finally have been turned in terms of performances.

ASM: Without defeat in five games and coming off the back of a good showing in the UEFA Europa League group stage which saw them win Group B, Monaco are stronger now than they were at the start of the season when results and displays were equally inconsistent. Like last term, the men from the principality may well grow in strength as the campaign wears on.

Prediction

The hosts should have enough to win this, but the visitors have the weapons to do damage at Parc des Princes. Monaco won both meetings last season so do not write them off here. Pick: PSG 2-1 ASM.
