The U.S. men's national team's roster for upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Costa Rica and Honduras was announced on Sunday. Here's a look at the squad:

GOALKEEPERS: Brad Guzan, Tim Howard, Nick Rimando.

DEFENDERS: DaMarcus Beasley, Matt Besler, Geoff Cameron, Omar Gonzalez, Matt Hedges, Tim Ream, Eric Lichaj, Jorge Villafaña, Graham Zusi.

MIDFIELDERS: Kellyn Acosta, Paul Arriola, Alejandro Bedoya, Michael Bradley, Fabian Johnson, Dax McCarty, Darlington Nagbe, Christian Pulisic, Christian Roldan.

FORWARDS: Jozy Altidore, Clint Dempsey, Jordan Morris, Chris Wondolowski, Bobby Wood.

The U.S. is currently in third place in the hexagonal round of qualifying, securing eight points from the last four matches. The Americans began qualifying with two consecutive loses, which led to the firing of Jurgen Klinsmann as manager.

The most notable absence is the DeAndre Yedlin, who has yet to play for Newcastle this season as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Arena's squad will host Costa Rica on Friday at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey before traveling to Honduras for a Sept. 5 matchup against Los Catrachos.
