LAS VEGAS (AP) Deyshonee Much had 17 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for the junior's first career double-double and Iona used a strong second half to beat UC Santa Barbara 73-57 on Wednesday in the South Point Holiday Hoops Classic.

Much gave Iona a nine-point lead on a dunk with 2:36 left before halftime, but the Gaels went scoreless the rest of the half and only led 32-31. Iona gained momentum midway through the second half when it made three 3-pointers - two by Schadrac Casimir - on three consecutive possessions for a 50-45 lead.

Iona took its first double-digit lead of the game with 7:28 left on Jordan Washington's dunk.

Washington finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Casimir hit three 3s and scored 11 points for Iona (8-3). Much was 6 of 12 from the field, with five of Iona's 10 3-pointers.

Gabe Vincent made three 3-pointers and scored 13 points for UC Santa Barbara (1-8), which lost its third straight. Jarriesse Blackmon and Clifton Powell Jr. each scored 11 points and Jalen Canty added 10.
