ATHENS, Ohio (AP) Kenny Kaminski knocked down four 3-pointers and collected 18 points as Ohio closed out its nonconference slate with a 77-50 thrashing of Division II Urbana on Friday night.

The Blue Knights held a three-point lead at intermission, 34-31, but managed just 16 points in the second half.

Undefeated in seven home games, Ohio (8-3) heads into Mid-American Conference play Tuesday when the Bobcats play host to Western Michigan.

Kaminski hit 4 of 9 shots from deep and was 6 of 13 overall in leading the Ohio offense. Jordan Dartis was 4 of 8 from distance and finished with 14 points. Ohio was 25 of 55 from the field (45.5 percent), including 9 of 27 from behind the arc (33.3 percent).

Kaminski hit a pair of 3-pointers in the first five minutes of the second half, the latter giving the Bobcats a 47-34 advantage.

Jahmere Howze led Urbana with 14 points.
