HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) Joseph Lopez scored on a layup with 31 seconds left and Chris Robinson added a pair of free throws in the closing seconds as Sacred Heart rebounded from a loss to Northeast Conference leader Mount St. Mary's to knock off second-place Fairleigh Dickinson, 74-70 on Thursday night.

The loss drops Fairleigh Dickinson two games back of the Mountaineers.

The teams traded the lead down the stretch and Darnell Edge pulled the Knights even, 70-70 with 1:03 remaining. Quincy McKnight had his layup attempt blocked by Mike Holloway, but Lopez grabbed the offensive rebound and scored to give the Pioneers the lead for good.

McKnight scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Sacred Heart (9-15, 4-7). Mario Matasovic, Sean Hoehn and Charles Tucker Jr. each added 10 points.

Stephan Jiggetts and Darian Anderson each scored 20 points to lead Fairleigh Dickinson (10-12, 8-3).
