CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) Mack Smith and Muusa Dama each picked up double-doubles to lead Eastern Illinois in an 80-60 defeat of Tennessee Martin on Thursday night.

Smith, a freshman, scored a career-best 22 points with six 3-pointers, and pulled down 11 rebounds. Dama scored 12 points with 13 rebounds and Eastern Illinois (7-11, 3-4 Ohio Valley Conference) made nearly half its shots from behind the 3-point arc. The Panthers made 28 of 67 shots from the floor, and 13 of 30 from distance. Montell Goodwin finished with four 3-pointers and 18 points.

Freshman Parrish Hewitt scored 16 points off the bench, his fifth double-digit game. Mathew Butler added 11 points, Dominique Williams had 10 and Terrence Parker corralled a career-best 13 rebounds to go with seven points for UT Martin (6-14, 1-6).

Eastern Illinois led by 12, 33-21, at halftime and pushed the lead to as many as 24 points after.
