JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) Samuel Idowu made Marist pay for a late turnover when he scored from 3-point distance, vaulting Saint Peter's into the lead 68-66 with less than a minute to play, and Davauhnte Turner drove for an insurance layup as the Peacocks rallied past Marist 70-66 Thursday night.

Turner led Saint Peter's (10-13, 4-9 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) with 30 points, his first game scoring more than seven since he went off for 34 on Jan. 18. Turner was 10 of 20 from the floor, made four 3-pointers and six of seven free throws. Idowu chipped in nine points and pulled down two defensive rebounds in the last 38 seconds to prevent Marist second chances.

Four players reached double figures for a balanced Marist squad - Brian Parker with 12, Isaiah Lamb and David Knudsen with 11 each, and Tobias Sjoberg with 10. Parker also had nine assists for the Red Foxes (5-20, 3-10).

The Peacocks had lost five of their previous six coming in. Marist is on a three-game skid.
