California senior Justin Cobbs fractured the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks, coach Mike Montgomery said Wednesday.

Cobbs is a two-time All-Pac-12 selection who averaged 15.1 points per game last season. He's the leading returning scorer for the Bears. Assuming his recovery goes as planned, Cobbs should be healthy for Cal's season-opener in November.
