Florida State's surprising victory at Virginia on Saturday extended the Seminoles' winning streak to 10 games, gave them four top-50 KenPom wins and launched them into the top 10 of the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one).

And that was some kind of wild New Year's Eve, wasn't it?

In addition to Virginia losing to Florida State, North Carolina lost at Georgia Tech and Duke lost at Virginia Tech. Those results created a shakeup in the Top 25 (and one).

So let me explain some things before you ask: FSU jumping to ninth caused Wisconsin, Purdue, Xavier, Butler and Arizona to drop one spot each, no fault of their own. And Virginia Tech going from unranked to 21st caused Indiana, Saint Mary's, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Miami to drop one spot each, also no fault of their own. And it caused USC to drop out of the Top 25 (and one). Andy Enfield's Trojans are essentially 27th.

By the way, there are now eight ACC schools in the Top 25 (and one). So the league is just as stacked as most projected it would be in the preseason. The complete Top 25 (and one) is below.
