Melton (knee) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the 76ers.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Could make season debut next week
Melton (knee) is expected to miss at least two more games, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.
Head coach Steve Kerr thinks that Melton could be ready to make his season debut during the team's upcoming three-game road trip, which begins Thursday in Philadelphia. That likely means the veteran guard won't be available for either of Golden State's next two home contests Saturday against the Pelicans and Tuesday against the Thunder. In the meantime, Will Richard should continue to play enough minutes to warrant streaming consideration.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Practicing in G League
The Warriors assigned Melton (knee) to the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.
Slater notes that Melton will be recalled shortly. The move is expected to give Melton some practice reps amid the late stages of his rehab from a torn ACL. The veteran guard's earliest possible season-debut date is Saturday against the Pelicans.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Assigned and recalled Friday
Golden State assigned Melton to the Santa Cruz Warriors before recalling him Friday.
Melton will miss the first portion of the regular season while rehabbing from an ACL sprain that he underwent surgery for in December. The Warriors announced Wednesday that he will miss at least three more weeks, and when he's cleared to return to in-game action, he'll likely have a limited role at the NBA level if Golden State is near full strength.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Out for at least three more weeks
The Warriors announced Wednesday that Melton (knee) will miss at least three more weeks.
The veteran guard will continue his rehab from a torn ACL sustained last year, and he was assigned to the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday to get some extra work in. Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: To be re-evaluated in four weeks
Melton (knee) will be re-evaluated in about four weeks, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Melton is doing individual work at training camp, but he's set to miss at least the first handful of games to begin the regular season. Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: To miss start of season
Melton (knee) is expected to miss the "early portion" of the regular season, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reported Wednesday.
Melton is in the late stages of his ACL rehab. He had surgery back in early December, which was about 10 months ago. While the Warriors like where he's at in his recovery, Slater notes that the team will take a "careful approach." A more precise timetable will likely be announced at the conclusion of training camp.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Joining Golden State
Melton (knee) agreed to a deal with the Warriors on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Melton will return to Golden State after missing the majority of the 2024-25 campaign due to a sprained ACL. Melton returns to a crowded wing rotation, the composition of which remains unclear as Jonathan Kuminga angles for a new deal. Melton has averaged at least 10.0 points per game in each of his last four seasons, but he hasn't played more than 40 games in a season since the 2022-23 campaign.
