MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) Daryl McCleskey Jr. had two second-half touchdown runs and Eastern Kentucky edged Tennessee-Martin 35-34 on Saturday.

Alphonso Howard threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score for Eastern Kentucky (3-3, 2-1 Ohio Valley Conference).

Dresser Winn threw a pair of touchdown passes but was intercepted twice for UT-Martin (1-5, 1-2). LaDarius Galloway ran for two scores.

Howard ran for an 11-yard touchdown and connected with Alex Cabrera on a 16-yard scoring throw about a minute later following a Skyhawks fumble. Tre Turner then forced another turnover and Gavin Bryant scooped up the ball and returned it 43 yards into the end zone and EKU had a 21-7 first-quarter lead.

UT-Martin answered in the second quarter when Winn tossed a 46-yard TD pass to Christian Philpott. Galloway added touchdown runs of 23 and six yards, and Ryan Courtright's 42-yard field goal gave the Skyhawks a 31-21 halftime lead.

But the Skyhawks managed just one Courtright field goal in the second half. McClesky scored from the 6 to end the third quarter, and he added a 12-yard touchdown run following a successful onside kick by EKU early in the fourth.
