In the wake of Florida's 42-13 loss to Missouri at the Swamp on Saturday night, athletic director Jeremy Foley has once again issued a statement in support of Will Muschamp and the current players.

The blowout home loss, on homecoming weekend, resulted in Muschamp answering questions about his future in the postgame press conference. Muschamp responded with concerns about the team, not his job status -- "I'm not concerned about things I don't have any control over,” he said.

Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley certainly does have control over Muschamp's job status, and he reiterated what was reported earlier in the season: No decision will be made regarding the future of the Florida football program, perhaps until after the season.

"At the beginning of the season we said we would evaluate the season as it plays out," Foley said. "We will continue to do so. Our sole focus right now is supporting our coaching staff and players as they prepare for Georgia."

Florida has not beaten a ranked team since defeating Florida State in Tallahassee in 2012, the regular-season finale of the Gators' 11-2 season. Since then Florida is 7-12 with its only SEC victories coming against Tennessee (twice), Kentucky (twice) and Arkansas.

Florida is off this week and will return to action against Georgia in Jacksonville on Nov. 1.
