Georgia LB Jarvis Jones out vs. Kentucky
One of Georgia's best players, linebacker Jarvis Jones, is sitting out against Kentucky with an ankle injury, which isn't expected to be a long-term problem. Jones is one of the SEC's best players, though the Bulldogs should be fine against the Wildcats, who are winless in conference play.

Georgia junior linebacker Jarvis Jones, one of the SEC's best defensive players, will miss Saturday night's game against Kentucky with an ankle injury, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Jones, who is third in the conference in sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss (9.5), made the trip to Lexington but had trouble practicing this week. The No. 13 Bulldogs, coming off a bye and a disappointing 35-7 loss to South Carolina on Oct. 6, should be fine without him. Kentucky is winless in conference play. Freshman Jordan Jenkins is expected to start in Jones' place.
Jones is widely regarded as a first-round NFL draft talent. The Bulldogs are hopeful Jones will be ready for the storied Florida-Georgia rivalry next week in Jacksonville.
