LOOK: Cardale Jones rants on Twitter about problems with NCAA
Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones went after the NCAA on Twitter.
Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones is getting ready to begin his NFL career, as he's expected to be selected during the NFL Draft this spring, but before he starts collecting checks, Cardale did what he's been known to do for years: tweet for free.
Jones sent out a series of tweets on Monday calling out the NCAA for the way it handles student-athletes.
I'm so happy to be done with the @NCAA and their rules & regulation. They do any & everything to exploited collegiate athletes.

It's deeper than athletes thinking we should get paid. The @NCAA control our lives with insane and unfair rules.

Why shouldn't a collegiate athlete be able to use their OWN likeness/brand to benefit themselves but yet the @NCAA can sell there jerseys

He ain't come here to play intern!
Jones is hardly the first person to question the NCAA's rules and regulations. That's been going on since the dawn of the NCAA, particularly with how lucrative television deals have become in the last few decades. Schools and conferences pull in millions upon millions of dollars, while the players get paid the same thing players did in the early twentieth century.
To its credit, the NCAA has at least tried to modernize in recent years, but it's still 50 to 60 years behind common sense.
